Why “Past Tents”?

I chose the name “Past Tents” as my blog title. Why?  Because I am past the basics. I’m too lazy to hike, to creaky to run, too fat to swim and old to camp on the ground. I don’t want to see stars. I prefer the inside of my ancient Blue Bird Wanderlodge or, in the alternative, the ceiling fan in my bedroom in my ancient house. In all respects, I am Past Tents.
